Viranda is proud to be involved in The University of Auckland’s newly launched Career & Industry Insights Programme. Mark Bridgman is an Alumni of The University of Auckland and is a mentor for this fantastic initiative; “I can’t think of a better way for students and alumni to connect and I would’ve enjoyed a similar programme in my student days.”
Mark attended the first ‘meet-up’ for the programme (online) and was left feeling very optimistic about the calibre of students coming through the Business School. Viranda has been matched with three undergraduates who will spend time in our offices in late September (covid-willing of course).
While the programme could unfold online if Covid dictates, Mark is hoping the students can physically visit and sense the fun and supportive culture Viranda has worked hard to foster. “Our team is a mix of generations (mostly youthful) and I think the students will enjoy learning about our industry dynamics from an array of ages and stages. Likewise, we’re looking forward to hearing about the latest business insights from a student mindset.”
